Tubby & Coo's owner Candice Huber has introduced a host of board game-related programs in conjunction with the New Orleans store's third anniversary, including board game rental and exchange programs and a board game club. "We've been selling board games since we opened, but the specific board game-café model is what's new for the third anniversary," said Huber.

JAMIE DEMENT WINS BINC HEADS-OR-TAILS
Okay, so the winner of the Binc Heads-or-Tails Fundraiser may have looked like SIBA Show Staffer Steve Jewell, but that was just a clever disguise. Steve is part of the Author Green Room Team -- the SIBA team that makes sure authors have all the information they need and get where they are supposed to be at the Show. The Green Room Team made a special effort this year to encourage authors to participate in the Binc Heads-or-Tails fundraiser, and agreed to act as proxies for authors who couldn't be present at the time the game kicked off. The results were astounding. Presenting authors contributed over $1000 to Binc. And Heads-or-Tails raised about $3000 total at the show.

- Fiction Addiction won the Buyer's Raffle prize of $1000
- Hub City Book Shop won the Scavenger Hunt and a free trip to #SIBA18 in Tampa, FL
- Fiction Addiction also won a trip to #SIBA18 as part of the APPetite for Prizes competition
- Square Books was voted the 2018 Bibb Pick winner
- Eagle Eye Books won the Southern Book Prize Table Display Contest and $1000!
