Carver Familiarization Session for Booksellers

Every year the SIBA board goes through extensive Policy Governance training to educate our leaders on board function at the highest level. This training has allowed our leaders to govern SIBA with creative, informed decision-making and made former SIBA board members valuable assets as leaders on boards in their local communities. The training is a true asset and this year we are opening our training to anyone who’d like to sit in and learn more about the Carver Model. It will be illuminating to anyone interested in SIBA governance and executive roles as well as an investment SIBA is making to cultivate future leaders in our organization. Our trainer is Miriam Carver, the co-creator of the model with her husband, Dr. John Carver.
