We know it’s stressful right now, especially as bookstores navigate Covid-related issues around masks, author events, and financial challenges. Bryan Robinson, Ph.D, known to many SIBA booksellers for leading us through a six week #Bookseller Chill series during the onset of Covid, is stepping forward again to help us prioritize our mental health. In this session, he’ll walk booksellers through what he calls micro-chillers (exercises and meditations to produce calm, clarity, and a number of other positive emotions). He’ll present some of the science behind the micro-chillers, lead us through a few examples, and take your questions on how to deal with stress, anxiety, and overwork. Please join us!

Bryan Robinson, Ph.D.is a psychotherapist and Professor Emeritus at UNC Charlotte. He’s also the author of #Chill: Turn Off Your Job & Turn On Your Life, a guide to mindfulness that’s filled with exercises (micro-chillers), meditations, and advice for achieving work/life balance. https://bryanrobinsonbooks.com
