• 12-5PM Bookseller Bus Tour
• 5:30 PM Welcome Reception at the The Historic New Orleans Collection
  

Sept 8: Day of Education and Author Events.

• 10AM-1130AM:  Bookselling as a Hero’s Journey with Jill Hendrix, owner of Fiction Addiction in Greenville, SC. Jill will share foundational lessons she’s learned along her 20-year journey in bookselling to guide you on your own hero’s journey. Her presentation will be followed by breakouts for sourcing and sharing additional lessons learned from member stores and identifying any current dragons you’re encountering along your path.
  
  
• Noon-130PM: Author Luncheon.  Five authors across genres share their new work.
  
  
• 2-3PM: Put More Hours in Your Day (and cash in your pockets!): Sexier Offline Organization and Online Automation Tools with Shari Stauch, owner of Main Street Reads in Summerville, SC,  and Angela Trigg, owner of The Haunted Book Shop in Mobile, AL.
  
  
• 330-430PM: “What’s Working: Idea Exchange” led by NOLA booksellers Share one thing that's working at your store and hear what's working at your colleagues’ stores. The goal: walk away with a bunch of new ideas to try at your store!
  
  
• 5:30-7PM: Authors and Aperitifs. A fast-paced author speed-dating event combining light bites, cocktails, and book chat!
