Bookseller resources, including Zoom links for rsvp-ing attendees, are available a month in advance. You must login to sibaweb.com to access.

A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Rosanne A. Brown
June, 2020 Reviewed by Candice Conner, The Haunted Bookshop, Mobile, AL
On Edelweiss
Combine Aladdin and Jasmine with the Hunger Games and mix in West African folklore and you have this gorgeous, fast-paced YA fantasy. World-building is fabulous, especially as more of the sultana's family legend is revealed.
Malik is my favorite character because Ms. Brown does an amazing job combining his anxiety with his magic, as well as making him an adoring brother to his two sisters. At times he read younger to me, but I think that's due
to his traumatic past. My favorite part of Karina's character is her musical talent in playing her late father's oud. To me, it was when her true personality shined brightest.
Nothing Is Wrong and Here Is Why by Alexandra Petri

So funny! So snarky! So just right for right now! So much happening in the world today makes us cry - these essays help us laugh as a way to process it all. Laughter through tears. Clever tongue in cheek writing and laugh out loud
fun. Go follow her on Twitter right now!
Otto Tattercoat and the Forest of Lost Things by Matilda Woods

An adorable story of a boy searching for his mother in the frigid city of Hodorf. Otto joins ranks with the Tattercoats, a group of children who live on the streets and sleep by chimneys. There's a reason Hodorf never sees the
warmer seasons. Otto and Nim find out why when they discover the magical and mysterious underbelly of the city. Magical and filled with wonder.
Pizza Girl by Jean Kyoung Frazier

An upbeat and insightful novel in which a pregnant California teenage slacker tries to sort out issues of addiction and love. Likeable characters in very grown-up situations.
